We have made some changes to our kitchen faucet options. Basically, we have discovered that our plumbing contractors are generally not huge fans of IKEA fixtures. While we may disagree with them in some respects, we have found that there are advantages to working with your plumber rather than against him. So, say hello to our new faucet options.

Moen Level – Base
Our base faucet is just a simple, clean design without much in the way of bells or whistles.

Kohler Elate – $50 Upgrade
The first upgrade is probably the most noticeably different of all the options. It is a little more organic looking and perhaps a little clunkier, but some of us like that sort of thing. The pullout spray that we have come to appreciate so much is in full effect.

Grohe Minta – $250 Upgrade
This isn’t really a new addition, but we felt it was worth mentioning this faucet again now that it has been installed in a few of our homes. We even like the way the water flows out of this thing. It is beautiful. This also includes a pullout spray with a little button to switch the flow.

Kohler Evoke – $220 Upgrade
This faucet was just installed in the 100k as a part of a video shoot. Chad and Courtney like it so much we decided to add it to our options list. Pullout spray? You bet.

Delta Pilar (Touch Faucet) – $350 Upgrade
This is an expensive upgrade because it involves a little wiring as well as the more costly faucet. However, the end result is a really cool faucet that will ease the minds of many germaphobes with it’s touch technology. Once your hands are clean you can also use the pullout spray head for more effective cleaning.
